Hi! I’m Jacquelyn Reed, and I’m so excited you’re here exploring The Archetype. This is my very first book series, born from a moment after college when I decided to channel all my creativity into something bigger. I have always been intrigued by mythological and Occult beings, the "Unknown", so I decided to research them, shape my own understanding of these cryptids, and turn it into a whole universe and storyline: The Archetype. In the story, some aspects may shadow pieces of my life, exaggerated, twisted, and dramatized for fun. Everything is a hyperbole, lol.

Some names and places have been changed, inspired by people I’ve met and neighborhoods I’ve passed during my drives across Texas. If you recognize one, let me know... I love when readers catch the Easter eggs.

I’m a first‑time author and a huge music lover. The songs I listen to shape my emotions and influence the chapters I write. My favorite character is… Scarth, obviously. Lol. I also love artwork. As you navigate through the archetypes' social media, I hope you enjoy the artworks I have selected.
